The Blood Of Jesus Christ

Let’s get started,

Mat 26:26  And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
Mat 26:27  And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Every covenant is always sealed with blood

The blood of Jesus Christ is what was used to seal the new covenant between God and humanity in this present age.

Jesus said For this is my blood of the new testament

Other words for covenant are testament and agreement.

What Is The Purpose Of The Blood Of Jesus?

The purpose of the blood of Jesus Christ is for the forgiveness of our sins and unrighteousness so that we can reap the blessing of Christ’s death on the cross.

Without the shedding of the blood, there is no forgiveness.

The blessings of the blood of Jesus include the following:

  • For the forgiveness of sins.
  • Made peace through the blood of his cross
  • We have redemption through his blood
  • Now justified by his blood
  • Purge your conscience from dead works
  • The will of the eternal Father toward us has been made valid through the blood of Jesus.
  • You who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ
  • Enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
  • The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
  • This is the blood of the New Testament
  • Overcame him (devil) by the blood of the Lamb
  • Cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

How Does The Blood Of Jesus Cleanse Us?

The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Sin is a spiritual sickness of your soul and spirit

Is like cancer or leprosy in the body

Sin includes wrongdoing or actions that separate us from God, But when we have faith in Jesus Christ and confess our sins, God forgives us and cleanses us from sin and unrighteousness

1Jn 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Unrighteousness is when you do not have a right to stand with God and you are not living right
