Christ’s Promise Of Coming Back And The Rapture Ready

Joh 14:1  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Joh 14:2  In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus Christ went back to heaven to prepare a place for those who believe in him.

He shall come back as he promised and at the appropriate time to take them home

What Is The Rapture In The Bible?

Rapture in the Bible is the descent of Jesus Christ from heaven when the Trump Of God sounds to meet the saints in the air and take them back to heaven with Him

He will then present them before the Father’s throne where they remain during the period of tribulation.

The Trump Of God will take place at least 7 years before the second coming of Christ to the earth

The saint will therefore not be on the earth during the period of tribulation!

How The Rapture Will Take Place

1Th 4:16  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The Lord Jesus will descend from heaven with a shout then:

The dead in Christ shall rise first

Then those who are still alive as believers shall be caught up in the air to be with him forever

What Are The Qualifications Of Those That Shall Be Taken Home?

The qualification of those that shall be taken home by Chris include the following:

1. Be in Christ

2Co 5:17  Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2Co 5:18  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

what does it mean to be in Christ?

To be in Christ means to be united with him in thought, speech, and actions

It means you have been transformed into a new person and your spirit is renewed to be like Christ

Your sins have been forgiven and reconciled with God

2. Belong To Christ

1Co 15:23  But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

Gal 5:24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

They that are Christs at his coming are those who have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts

Those that are still living in the flesh do not belong to him

To live in the flesh means to be practicing sinful desires such as :

Gal 5:19  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Gal 5:20  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Gal 5:21  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

3. Have Done Good

Joh 5:28  Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29  And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Those that have done well are those who have been living as controlled by the holy spirit

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

The manifest love , joy ,peace etc

4. Blessed And Holy

Heb 12:14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Rev 20:4  And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5  But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Be at peace with all men

Live a holy life. A holy life of separation from sin and the world

Without peace and holiness, no man shall see God!

Those that are blessed shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with him a thousand years.

5. Worthy To Escape

Luk 21:36  Watch ye, therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Be alert and prayerful

6. Member Of The Church

Eph 1:20  Which he wrought in Christ when he raised him from the dead and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21  Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world but also in that which is to come:
Eph 1:22  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23  Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Eph 5:27  That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Do you belong to a Bible-believing Church where you listen and practice the word of God?

Is it a gathering for men or Christ?

7. Pure

1Jn 3:2  Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1Jn 3:3  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

8. Without Spot Or Wrinkle

Eph 5:27  That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Jesus is coming back for a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle

8. Live In The Spirit

Gal 5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23  Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24  And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Gal 5:25  If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

To live in the Spirit means to be led by the Holyspirit to manifest love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, etc

9. Walk-In The Light

1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not the truth:
1Jn 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1Co 15:37  And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:
1Co 15:38  But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Rev 19:9  And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
Rev 19:10  And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellow-servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
