According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, fear is an unpleasant often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger

1. Man

Heb 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Heb 13:6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Don’t put your trust in any man because you may be disappointed.

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and put his confidence in the Lord will be exalted and safe   Proverbs 29:25 Amp

Put your trust in God, and he will never fail you

He has promised to never leave you or forsake you

He is your helper

 

 

2. Death

Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
Heb 2:15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

If you are a believer, Christ has delivered you from the power of death.

Don’t continue to live in bondage to fear of death.

Even when you die physically, you shall rise again

You shall live forever with Christ

 

 

3. Future

Gen 50:19  And Joseph said unto them, Fear not: for am I in the place of God?
Gen 50:20  But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save many people alive.
Gen 50:21  Now, therefore, fear ye not: I will nourish you, and your little ones. And he comforted them, and spake kindly unto them.

Your future is guaranteed in Christ

Your destiny is your choice, Heaven or Hell

Choose Heaven and you will not regret it

 

 

4. Dreams

Job 4:13  In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men, 
Job 4:14  Fear came upon me and trembling, which made all my bones shake.

Have you ever dreamt and become afraid?

You are not alone.

It is just a revelation to you so that you can do something about your situation

Get on your knees and pray to God who has revealed this to you to show you what to do.

Surely He will help you

 

 

5. Evil

Pro 1:33  But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Read, Meditate and store the word of God in your heart as you listen to him every day.

 

 

6. Danger

Exo 14:13  And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more forever.

Exo 14:14  The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

In times of danger, don’t be afraid, because the only one who can save you is the Lord.

He shall deliver you.

Remain calm

 

 

7. War

Psa 27:3  Though a host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

Are you afraid of people gathering against you?

Put your confidence in God.

 

 

8. Enemies

Psa 118:6  The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Do not be afraid of your enemies.

They are already defeated!

Remember your warfare is not with human beings unseen spiritual principalities and powers

You are in confrontation with the Devil, the world, and the lust of the flesh.

 

 

9. Idol Gods

2Ki 17:35  With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:

2Ki 17:36  But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, he shall ye fear, and he shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.

2Ki 17:37  And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore, and ye shall not fear other gods.

2Ki 17:38  And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods.

You don’t have to be afraid of idol gods nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them

Your God is a great God

 

 

 

10. Fear Of Nothing

Psa 53:5  There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encamped against thee: thou hast put them to shame because God hath despised them.

Are you afraid when there was nothing to fear

God is your place of refuge.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower the righteous run into it and he is safe

 

11. Darkness

Are you one of those afraid of darkness?

It is good to be conscious of criminals lurching in the darkness and keep safe

You have a Maker who will order your steps out of danger

Put your trust in Him always

 

 

12. Ghosts

Mat 14:26  And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit, and they cried out for fear

 

 

 

13. Punishment

Pro 1:26  I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
Pro 1:27  When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

It is those who are living in disobedience and sin that deserve punishment.

Fear comes when you know that you are guilty.

Be reconciled with your Maker to avoid punishment when the time comes.

 

 

14. Spirit Of Fear

2Ti 1:6  Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.
2Ti 1:7  For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

When you are in Christ you are a new creature and the spirit that you received from God is not the spirit of fear but of power to overcome fear, love, and a sound mind
